PORT OF TARANTO, 29 OCTOBER 2024 - The Port Network Authority of the Ionian Sea – Port of Taranto (PNAIS) announces the availability of maritime state-owned areas intended for the construction of solar energy production plants, both onshore and offshore.
The mentioned areas (maps) refer to portions of state-owned domain managed by the PNAIS. They are identified as follows:
- State-owned area of approximately 23 hectares, registered under sheet number 193 - Parcels: 253, 136, 217, 222, 11, 126, 123, 124, 9.
- Water surface area of approximately 70 hectares, with a perimeter of 3,358 meters.
Therefore, interested parties - which must meet the requirements set out in Article 35 of the current "Regulations on Administrative Procedures regarding Public Maritime Domain” – have to submit a request to the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) to obtain the authorisation for the realization of renewable energy production plants as provided by article 12 of the Italian Legislative Decree No. 387/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions, as well as acquire all the opinions/authorizations/concessions and/or permits necessary for this purpose. Furthermore, as part of the procedure, the opinion of the PNAIS will be also acquired.
