3. CV (CP) Diego Tomat - Member - Representing the Maritime Authority - Commander of the Taranto Harbour Master's Office;
4. Prof. Nicolo' Giovanni Carnimeo - Member - Representing the Puglia Region - Associate Professor of Navigation and Transport Law at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro" Ionian Department;
5. Dr Rossella Murgolo - Member - Representing the mayor of the municipality of Taranto - Chartered Accountant.

The Management Committee is the collective body of the Port System Authority, which is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Authority and of the maritime domain falling within its territorial jurisdiction (art. 9 of Law no. 84 of 28 January 1994, as amended and supplemented). The Committee is composed of:

1. the President of the Port System Authority, who chairs it and whose vote prevails in the event of a tie
2. one member appointed by the Region or by each Region whose territory is included, even partially, in the port system;
3. one member appointed by the mayor of each metropolitan city, if any, whose territory is included, even partially, in the port system;
4. one member appointed by the mayor of each of the municipalities once the seat of the Port Authority included in the Port System Authority, excluding metropolitan city capitals;
5. the maritime director in whose jurisdiction the port of the Port System Authority is located and, on appointment by the latter, the representative of the relevant maritime authority with regard to the subjects covered in relation to the ports included in the Port System Authority, without prejudice to the right to vote limited to one of the members of the maritime authority and only on matters falling within its competence.
