TARANTO PORT DAYS 2019

The Port System Authority of the Ionian Sea has decided to join the Italian Port Days 2019 initiative promoted by Assoporti, in order to join the other national Port Authorities in shared and coordinated promotion with the slogan "opening port life and culture to people".

This initiative recognises the culture of the sea as an intrinsic value thanks to which the city-port of Taranto will be involved in a process of (re)building ties and relations with the territory, in line with the "Port and Territory" axis of the Authority's 2017-2019 Three-Year Operational Plan (TOP), a planning document which, in defining the activities intended to achieve the Vision of the Port of Taranto, lays the foundations for achieving its promotional goals for a new season of innovation, competitiveness and revitalisation of the territory.

From 17 to 20 May, four days of workshops, tours and seminars, organised by the Port System Authority of the Ionian Sea - Port of Taranto and The International Propeller Club Port of Taras, under the patronage of the Municipality of Taranto.

On the occasion of the #TarantoPortDays2019, a "Photo Contest" will be held for everyone. The theme will obviously be the #PortofTaranto. On 7/8/9/13 May it will be possible to access the port area with your camera equipment to take photos, which must be handed in by 18 May. The winner will be awarded during the closing event of "Taranto Port Days" on 19 May. The contest rules are available at this link
