PORT OF TARANTO, 08 April, 2024 - On 18 April, at the Conference Room of the Ionian Department of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” (Taranto, Via Duomo 259) a training and information day entitled “THE VALUE OF WORDS: the Italian language in a gender perspective” will be held, promoted by the Network Authority of the Ionian Sea - Port of Taranto, the Committee for Equal Opportunities of the Taranto Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts and the Ionian Department of “Legal and Economic Systems of the Mediterranean: society, environment, cultures” of the University of Bari.
The initiative - promoted by the community table established in Taranto spontaneously last November (news) as a workshop dedicated to gender and equal opportunity issues - boasts, among others, the patronage of Accademia della Crusca, which, for the occasion, will be represented by Anna M. In addition to institutional greetings from numerous local and regional stakeholders, and the presidents of the Taranto professional associations that have joined the event (Association of Engineers; Association of Lawyers; Association of Architects; Association of Labour Consultants; ODCEC) and the Lions Club Taranto - San Giorgio Terra Jonica, speakers will include: on behalf of the University of Bari, Riccardo Pagano, Full Professor of General and Social Pedagogy; Adriana Schiedi, Associate Professor of General and Social Pedagogy; Lea Durante, Researcher of Italian Literature; Maurizio Sozio, Adjunct Professor of Philosophy of Law; Pierluca Massaro, Associate Professor of Sociology of Law, Deviance and Social Change; Gabriella Capozza, Researcher of Italian Studies.
