Also this year, the Port System Authority of the Ionian Sea (AdSPMI) is joining the Italian Port Days 2021 initiative (www.italianportdays.it), launched in 2019 by Assoporti, the Association of Italian Ports, in order to promote, through the slogan "opening port life and culture to people", joint and coordinated promotion of ports and the culture of the sea, in synergy between the national Port System Authorities.

From 1 to 4 October 2021, in a new port location, the port city of Taranto will host four busy days of cultural, musical and sporting events, which will be accompanied by talks and tours of the port, with the aim of bringing the port even closer to the city of Taranto.
