Access to the port
Welcome to the section dedicated to port access permit requests.
For complete information, you can consult the Regulation for the issuance of port access permits.
In particular, for the issuance of port entry permits, it is necessary to request accreditation to the Port Community System – the access portal of the Port of Taranto, following the instructions provided in the Authentication Manual.
Only after the acceptance of the aforementioned request by the Authority will it be possible to submit an application for the issuance and/or renewal of access permits exclusively through the use of the aforementioned portal. No other methods of submitting applications are permitted.
Regarding Access Permits, please note that it is possible to request:
Guest Permits: are issued for both the person and the vehicle by the security personnel stationed at the port gates upon handing over an identification document, to visit the offices of Public Administrations and Concessionaires during public opening hours and for those who are not required to perform work activities. In order to speed up the issuance of passes at the gate, it is possible to submit the request via the online procedure.
Visitor Permits: can be requested for a maximum of 10 days in a month and for a total of maximum 40 days in a year by Port Operators for those who are not required to perform work activities or who fall into the categories referred to in Art. 3, paragraph c) of the aforementioned Regulation. Each request cannot exceed 5 days for each visitor. The Portal, if correctly filled out, will automatically generate the authorization. For the categories for which it is possible to request this type of permit, please refer to the Access Regulation.
Temporary Permits: can be requested by subjects authorized to perform work activities in the Port exclusively for their regularly employed personnel and for any vehicles. The application must be submitted at least 2 working days before entering the port, using the appropriate section "Request temporary permit" for a time interval not exceeding 10 days in a month and for a total of maximum 40 days in a year, regardless of the number of requests.
Annual Permits: can be requested by subjects authorized to perform work activities in the Port exclusively for their regularly employed personnel and for any vehicles. They expire on December 31st of the year for which they are requested and are renewable for a maximum of 4 consecutive years. Where required by virtue of the port access title, the issuance and renewal of annual permits are subject to the payment of fees. In this regard, the expected costs are specified in the case of:
-
First issuance:
- €18 for administrative processing fees for each application;
- €1 for each permit requested per person or vehicle.
Where requested and in the event that the aforementioned time limits have not been exceeded, from the day following the presentation of the annual permit request, pending the issuance of the requested badge, a temporary permit will be generated that can be downloaded in the "List of authorized permits" section of the portal.
-
Renewal:
- €10 for administrative processing fees for each application, including a maximum number of 100 (one hundred) personal/vehicle permits.
-
Duplicate (due to loss/damage):
